Guess what?!! I HAVE PURPLE HAIR! ? Well, it’s not a permanent hair color, it’s Temp’ry. Yeah, that’s right, I said it, Temp’ry. Ha-ha, but for real, it’s a temporary hair color from Jerome Russell’s Temp’ry collection. It comes in a convenient aerosol spray can for about $4 and its super easy to use. It doesn’t stain and washes away easily using soap and water. It’s a great way to play around with colors without getting the real deal! I’ll explain how I got this purplish color.
Since this was the first time coloring my hair with bright colors, I decided to try it on one of my wigs first. To achieve this look, all I did was spray the burgundy hair color on the wig, while concentrating on the ends to give it an ombré effect. But the hair color was wayyyy too bright for me and I wanted to tone it down a bit, so I sprayed the blue color directly over the burgundy. The blue was actually too dark to show on the black hair alone, but, mixed together, it came out perfectly!
Overall, it was easy!! Just make sure you have towels on hand for clean up. But that’s pretty much it. Not too bad, eh? I didn’t do a great job at applying the color, but next time I’ll do better and will definitely be trying out more colors.
