My Curly Afro

Curly Afro
Hey Ladies!!

I have FINALLY gotten rid of all the heat damage on my natural hair and it feels GREAT!  It definitely took A LOT of time and patience, but it has been a looong time coming! Around this time last year, I attempted MANY natural hair styles and some came out  beautifully, but other times, it was a huge FAIL! I had so much heat damage that it made some of my hairstyles look soooo tacky!  I tried “transitioning,” but it was just too much work. Instead, I chopped off all the damaged ends and rocked my protective styles; mainly Crochet braids, braids,  Crochet wigs, and wigs with closures, until I was comfortable with my natural hair length. My hair is now more manageable, thicker, healthier and I’m in LOVE! Check out the photos below to see what products I used to get My Curly New Afro.

I’m in love with my “new” hair! If any Naturalista is wondering about my hair type, I’m guessing I’m somewhere between 4b-4c because I have little to no curl pattern. My hair is extremely thick and kinky! Stay tuned for my follow up YouTube video on this style. I can’t wait to experiment and share them with you all! Be sure to subscribe below so you won’t miss any updates! Til next time beauties,
