New York is truly the city that never sleeps. Often described as the cultural and the financial capital of the world with its commerce, media, art, fashion, research, technology, education, and entertainment, it’s no wonder why its the most popular city in the United States.
I recently traveled to New York for the first time on business and was able to snap some memorable moments at Times Square, Central Park and Manhattan in between my busy, nonstop schedule. All I can say is, New York is nothing like Los Angeles. We’re “Casually Busy” in LA. Always on the go, but comfortably doing so. A place where it’s okay to be a couple of minutes late because of “traffic” or in most cases, Starbucks lol. But NOT in New York. I now understand the meaning of, “A New York Minute.” Let me remind you, I was mentally 3 hours behind schedule, had no sense of the subway, got lost plenty of times and couldn’t hail a taxi if my life depended on it. My body ached so much that I took an epsom salt bath every night I was there. I barely from remember sleeping, LOL!! Nonetheless it was a great experience. Here are a few candids from the trips. Enjoy 🙂
Have you ever been to New York? If so, what are your favorite places to visit? I’m planning on going back and would love to visit all the “hot spots! Please let me know and comment below!!
